D#3, HW#2, Writing A Research Question

My topic is abstinence-only sex education.

Who is suffering from abstinence-only sex education?
Who is benefiting from abstinence-only sex education?
What is taught in abstinence-only sex education?
What is left out?
How is abstinence-only sex education affecting the nations teenagers?
How is abstinence-only sex education affecting politicians?
Why is abstinence-only sex education more prominent than "safe-sex" education?
Why is "safe-sex" education seen as wrong by people?

With this research question I am going to attempt to get facts and information out about abstinence-only education and prove that it is a harm to the nation and not a blessing. With this research topic I have to also make sure to address the difference between educating teenagers about safe-sex and promoting going out and having sex in general.
Essentially I will be writing to parents, teenagers, teachers, politicians, and religious communities. There is a vast majority of people that should have some concern about abstinence-only sex education. However, I feel like I will more than likely direct the writing towards parents because they feel most strongly about what is happening with their own children.
