D#5, HW#3, Peer Review Reflection

I read over Amanda and Jbloom's research proposals. From reading and reviewing my classmates drafts I've learned that being very specific is extrememly important. I feel that generalization and assumptions may be used too much in our writing. I need to review my draft and make sure I have not made false assumptions or generalizations. While reading these drafts I also realized that there are a few questions that need to be answered in order to write a good final paper.... 1. Does the issue HAVE to be controversial, and 2. are contractions acceptable in our paper? It may seem like a dumb question, but I think it's important regarding our grades. As of now I don't see anyone who has reviewed my draft =( I could be looking in the wrong place, but I think i'm right. When I click on other drafts it shows the peer editing, but when I click on mine it is blank. Once I get peer-reviews (if i do) I will make sure to come back and reflect on them. On TurnItIn.com there was 2% but I have no idea what that means and when I opened up my draft nothing was highlighted. If I am doing it wrong and someone can tell me how to do it right, that would be great!

I looked at the shared documents list and yours is not there. No one can find it to edit it!
